Charge sheet in Abrar murder case submitted

Police submitted charge sheet accusing 25 people in the killing case of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad Rabbi on Wednesday.

DB Inspector Wahiduzzaman, also Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, confirmed the news to risingbd.

Abrar, a second-year student of electrical and electronic engineering department of BUET, was beaten to death reportedly by BCL leaders at Sher-e-Bangla Hall of the university. He was found dead on the staircase of the dormitory early hours on October 7.

Victim’s father Barkatullah filed a case with Chawkbazar Police Station in the capital against 19 people over the murder.
