Child killed in Bongshal gas pipeline explosion

A child was killed and three injured in a gas pipeline explosion at Bongshal in the capital on Thursday morning.

The incident took place around 8.00am.

Lima Khanom, duty officer of Fire Service Headquarters, confirmed this to risingbd.

The incident took place at a residence of Kosaituli of Bongshal. Being informed, five units of fire service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

The identities of the deceased and injured could not be known yet.

Three injured were rushed to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery after the incident.
