China Communist Party gives masks to BNP

China Communist Party has given 10,000 masks to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

BNP chairperson’s media wing member ShayrulKabir Khan confirmed the matter. 

The Chinese embassy in Dhaka handed over the masks to a three-member team of BNP around 11.00am on Wednesday.

ShamaObaid, the party's organizing secretary and one of the members of the international affairs committee, said the Communist Party of China had sent masks to save BNP men from coronavirus.

As per direction of BNP acting Chairman TariqueRahman, BNP Secretary-General MirzaFakhrul Islam Alamgir sent three representatives of the party to the China embassy to receive the masks, she also said.

They are Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Advocate AsaduzzamanAsad and RiazUddinNasu.

On behalf of the acting chairman and secretary-general, Advocate Asaduzzaman Assad thanked the Communist Party of China and the China embassy in Dhaka.
