China returnee Rangpur student sent to Dhaka

The Bangladeshi student who is one of the China returnee students and was kept at the coronavirus unit of the isolation ward of Rangpur Medical College Hospital — was sent to Dhaka on Monday.

The patient was known as Al Amin, hailed from Chalbala Madanpur village of Kaliganj upazila in Lalmonirhat.

Earlier on Sunday night, he was admitted to Rangpur Medical College. Later, he was shifted to Dhaka following his critical condition.

Doctor Professor Narayanchandra said, the patient was sent to Dhaka’s Kurmitola general hospital following the decision of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
