Chinese citizen murder: 2 security guards confess guilt

Two security guards in the building at Banani have murdered Chinese businessman Gao Jianhui, 43.

The security guards gave confessional statement in this regard on Monday.

Earlier, Investigation Officer DB police inspector Fazlul Haque produced the accused before the court after four days remand. Later, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain recorded the statement of accused Abdur Rauf and Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim recorded statement of Enamul Haque.

On December 18, the two security guards were placed on four-day remand.

Rauf and Enamul entered the flat of Jianhui Gao and strangulated him to death by using a towel and looted Tk 349,000 from the flat on December 11.
