Clash with cops at Geneva camp, youth shot

A clash ensued between the residents of Mohammadpur Geneva camp and police over disconnecting electricity for not paying due bill on Saturday.
The Urdu-speaking people vandalised police vehicles, set ablaze and hurled brickbats to them. A youth sustained bullet injury during clash.
The youth was known as Rocky Hossain, 22, who was admitted to a hospital.
Clash was continuing with pause till the report was filed around 5:00pm.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) (Tejgaon division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Anisur Rahman confirmed the news.
