Coaching centers to remain closed for 22 days

The government has directed the coaching centres across the country to close all activities from October 25 to November 15 ahead of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations.  

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni made the announcement after a meeting at International Mother Language Institute in the capital on Sunday.

The minister said, stern action will be taken against question leakers.

In reply regarding to social networking sites control, she said, the law enforcers were kept alert in this regard.

Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations are scheduled to start from November 2.

Md. Sohorab Hossain, Secretary in the Secondary and Higher Education Division of Ministry of Education, Munshi Shahabuddin Ahmed, Secretary of Technical and Madrasah Education Division and representatives of education board, different ministries and law enforcement agencies were present at the meeting.
