Commuters suffer for transport crisis in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Transport crisis continued in the port city Chattogram on Saturday over the undeclared transport strike, causing immense sufferings to the commuters.
Office goers face great trouble as there were not sufficient transports on roads.
Banker Raihan Chowdhury said, "I had to walk through half of the way to my office as there was no public transport."
Salma Sultana, an official of a privet organization said, "The suffering of people knows no bound. There is no bus or other transport to go to office. Rickshaw and CNG auto-rickshaws are demanding high fare in this situation."
Some students blocked different roads in the port city including Muradpur, Gate Number two, Dampara, Wasa and other areas. Besides, the law enforcers were seen in alert position.
