Cops, LDA activists clash

Activists of left-leaning political alliance, Left Democratic Alliance (LDA), have clashed with cops in the capital.

The clash took on Monday noon when cops interrupted a procession towards Prime Minister’s Office at Matsya Bhaban in the city.

Several men of LDA including Junaid Saki and two policemen were injured in the incident.

After a gathering in front of the Jatiya Press Club, LDA activists stared their procession to besiege the Prime Minister’s office. Police men interrupted their procession when they reached near Matsya Bhaban.
