Coronavirus: DNNC’s handwashing programme at 25 spots

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has launched a handwashing programme for pedestrians at 25 spots in the city to prevent spread of coronavirus infection.

Newly-elected Mayor of DNCC Md Atiqul Islam and panel mayor Md Jamal Mostofa inaugurated the programme in front of the DNCC market at Gulshan-2 on Tuesday.

The spots include Uttara Rabindra Sharoni, Mirpur-10 (in front of Fire service office), Khilkhet bus stand, Mirpur-12,Mirpur-14 (in front of Mark medical), Mirpur-1 (in front of the Cooperative market), Gabtali cattle market, Shewrapara Bus Stand, Farmgate Ananda Cinema Hall, Mohammadpur Town Hall, Karwan Bazar (in front of kitchen market), Gulshan Police Plaza, Kakoli Bus Stand, Mohakhali DNCC Office( in front of the regional office).
