Coronavirus cases in India reach 3.32 lakh

The total tally of coronavirus cases in India has reached 3,32,424.

As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 325 deaths and 11,502 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours till Monday morning.

With this addition, the death toll has now jumped to 9,520.

The total number of cases in the country now at 332424 including 153106 active cases, 169798 cured/discharged/migrated patients.

It is to be noted that India is in the fourth position in terms of infections, among other countries, while at the ninth position in the world in terms of the death toll.

As per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) by 9 am on Monday, total 57,74,133 samples were tested and 1,15,519 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra, the worst-affected state, has over 1 lakh cases while Mumbai is still the worst affected city.
