Coronavirus cases reach 2144 in country, 84 deaths

Nine more persons have died after being infected with coronavirus or COVID-19 in the country, raising the total number of deaths in the virus to 84.

A total of 306 more people have been found to be infected with coronavirus in last 24 hours, taking the number of confirmed cases to 2144.

Directorate General of Health Services(DGHS) disclosed this at its regular press conference on Saturday.

Additional Director of DGHSDrNasima Sultana, Dr. MdHabiburRahman, director of management information system of DGHS, and Professor Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), spoke at the briefing.
