Coronavirus outbreak: 20 confirmed cases in Bangladesh

The number of coronavirus infected people climbed to 20 as Bangladesh confirmed three more cases within last 24 hours.

In a press conference at Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) in Dhaka’s Mohakhali, Professor Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Friday.

She said, new infected people are a woman aged 30 and two men aged 30 and 70 years.

Earlier on Thursday, Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Abul Kalam Azad said, three people tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).

The global death toll crossed 10,000 on Friday with 244,421 confirmed cases worldwide. With 3,405 deaths Italy has now become the country with most casualties.
