Coronavirus testing kit raw materials arrive on April 6

Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury said  there has been more progress in the activities to prepare rapid testing kits to detect coronavirus.

"Raw materials which will be used to prepare coronavirus detection kits will arrive in Dhaka from the United Kingdom on Monday (April 6) and we will be able to provide the kits to the government by April 10," he said.

He told this to risingbd on Saturday (April 4) noon.

Dr Bijan Kumar Shil, lead researcher of  Gonoshasthaya Kendra, said, "We can assure you that we will be able to provide coronavirus detection kits within the stipulated time."
