Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud has warned that no corruption will be tolerated in enlisting educational institutions for MPO (monthly payment order).
The chief of anti-graft commission said this while speaking at a meeting held with the ACC officials on Tuesday.
“ACC has taken zero tolerance policy against graft . . . Corruption in enlisting educational institutions for MPO won’t be tolerated,” he said.
The chief of anti-graft commission said proper education can show the new generation a specific guideline in developing morality amongst them.
He said there is an allegation that a section of officials of upazila, district and regional offices are demanding money from newly MPO-enlisted educational institutions.
The government recently issued two gazettes enlisting 2615 education institutions for MPO.
