Corruption, negligence in duty won’t be tolerated: Taposh

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has said that corruption and any kind of negligence in performing duties will not be tolerated at his office.

The Mayor came up with the warning while exchanging views with divisional heads and regional executives of different departments of corporation on Sunday.

He said, “We want to build the city corporation as a corruption free, proud, trustworthy and dignified institution. So, no corruption and negligence in performing duties will not be tolerated. Actions will be taken as soon as something like this comes to notice. Nobody will be spared how senior he is. Therefore, if someone has to say goodbye, I will not hesitate.”
