Customs Bill to be placed in JS today

Senior Correspondent:  Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will place Customs Bill-2019 before the parliament (Jatiya Sangsad) today (Wednesday) to make a new customs law.

A Cabinet meeting, held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, approved the bill on May 27.

Former Finance Minister AMA Muhith placed the Customs Bill-2018 before the parliament in last year, but JS sent it to Parliamentary Standing Committee for further scrutiny.
