DAP fertilizer price reduced by Tk 9 per kg

The government has taken a decision to reduce the price of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer to Tk 16 per kg from Tk 25 for farmers.

For dealers, the price has been reduced to Tk 14 from Tk 23 per kg.

Agriculture Minister Mohammad Abdur Razzaque came up with the information while talking at a press briefing at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

The new price will come into effect very soon, the minister said.
