DU student rape: Evidence found

Doctors at the Forensic Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) have found rape signs in the body of Dhaka University student who was raped in the capital’s Kurmitola area.

Deputy Commissioner of DB Police Moshiur Rahman said, “DNA of Majnu was examined and evidence was found that Majnu raped the student alone”.

A second-year student of Dhaka University was allegedly raped and tortured in the capital’s Kurmitola area on January 5.

Majnu was arrested over the rape incident on January 7.
