DU suspends classes, exams sine die

Dhaka University (DU) authorities have extended the suspension of classes and examinations until further notice in an effort to stem the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

DU authorities made the announcement in a press release on Thursday.

According to the press release, further notice will be served at least three days before resumption of academic activities at the university.

In line with general holidays issued by government, the handout said, the university offices will also remain closed till April 14. The emergency services will be excluded from the vacation.

Calling upon students to do physical exercise regularly, the university authority asked them to stay at home and continue their studies during the closure, it adds.
