Deadlock in JU due to strike

Students of Jahangirnagar University (JU) have begun an indefinite strike from Monday morning, demanding the removal of Vice-Chancellor (VC).

The students have padlocked all the faculty gates on the campus, creating a deadlock in the university.

Due to the strike, most of the students boycotted their classes and examinations.

Students and teachers of Jahangirnagar University (JU) are observing various programmes demanding resignation of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Farzana Islam for her alleged corruption.
