Dengue detection kits announced tax free

Staff Correspondent: The National Board of Revenue has announced that import of all kinds of Dengue detection kits and reagents will remain tax and VAT free.

The authority took the decision to reduce the costs of dengue treatment.

NBR issued a notification in this regard on Monday.

According to the gazette notification, the tax facility will remain effective till October 31, 2019. The imported items will monitored by Medicine administration decorate regularly.    

Earlier, the government fixed the fees of test to diagnosis dengue at Tk 500 maximum.
