Deputy secy’s driver dies falling off building

Driver of a deputy secretary died after falling off the ninth floor of a building in Hatirjheel area of the capital.

The deceased was identified as Md Alamgir Hossain, 22.

Deputy Secretary Afsana told risingbd that Alamgir Hossain miraculously fell off the ninth floor of Basic Mohiuddin Garden in the capital’s New Eskaton area at 11:30 pm on Friday.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctor declared him dead around 12:00 am, she said.

Confirming the matter, acting investigation officer of the hospital ASI Abdul Khan said, “The body will be handed over to its relatives after conducting an autopsy on the body.”
