Destiny chairman, MD’s bail pleas rejected

The Supreme Court has rejected the bail pleas filed by Destiny chairman and managing director in two money laundering cases.

A six-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order on Tuesday morning.

Earlier on Monday the court had fixed the date after concluding hearing on the bail petitions.

Destiny Group Managing Director Rafiqul Amin and Destiny Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd Chairman Mohammad Hossain filed the bail petitions, saying that they have been suffering in jail for a long period.
