Dilkusha Center fire doused

Staff Correspondent, DHAKA, Nov 12: Firefighters doused the devastating fire that broke out at a 19-storey building beside Younus Centre in city’s commercial hub Motijheel area on Tuesday morning.

The fire was originated from the first floor of Dilkusha Centre, 28, Dilkusha at 11.10am and reached to nine floors within in short time.

 

Six fire fighter units rushed to the spot and doused the fire at 12.00pm.

 

The cause of fire and extent of losses are yet to be ascertained.

 

About 10 injured people were admitted to DHAKA Medical Hospital.
