Doctor of Enam Medical dies of Covid-19

Dr. Rafiqul Haider, a doctor of Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar, has died from Covid-19 infection.

He breathed his last at the hospital on Wednesday night, Rafiqul Haider’s brother-in-law Oheduzzaman confirmed the news.   

He was 52 years.

Dr Rafiqul Haider was the consultant at Department of Endocrinology of Enam Medical College Hospital.

The doctor was being treated at home after he tested Covid-19 positive a couple of days ago. As his condition deteriorated with acute breathing difficulties at his Mirpur residence at night, he was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead, family sources said.
