Dr Sabrina sacked

JKG Health Care chairman, also Cardiac surgeon of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Dr Sabrina Arif Chowdhury has been sacked temporarily.

An office order signed by health division secretary Md Abdul Mannan revealed the news on Sunday.

Dr Mir Jamal Uddin, director and professor of NICVD confirmed the news.

He said, ‘Dr Sabrina was temporarily sacked around 5:00pm on Sunday.’

According to the office order, Dr Sabrina was temporarily dismissed as per government service rule 2018

Earlier, she was arrested in a case filed with Tejgaon Police Station over fraudulence in Covid-19 sample test and report delivery.
