Dr Zafrullah visits Haider Akbar Khan at DMCH

Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder and trustee Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury visited the leader of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) Haider Akbar Khan Rano who was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after he tested positive for coronavirus.

Jahangir Alam Mintu, office chief of Jatiya Oikya Front, confirmed the matter on Thursday (July 2).

“Dr Zafrullah visited Haider Akbar Khan Rano at the DMCH and enquired about his health condition standing beside his bed for about 30 minutes,” he said.

Dr Zafrullah expressed his desire to extend any sort of financial assistance to Haider Akbar Khan Rano for his better treatment, Jahangir Alam added.

The leftist leader Haider Akbar Khan Rano is now receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
