Dr Zafrullah’s health condition improving gradually

The overall physical condition of Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury is improving gradually. His lung infections are declining. He is staying without oxygen most time of the day.
Gonoshasthaya Medical College’s Professor Brigadier General (rtd) Dr Mamun Mustafi came up with development in a post on Gonoshasthaya Facebook Handle on Friday afternoon.
“However, he (Dr Zafarullah) is having trouble in speaking due to sore throat. We seek pray from all for speedy recovery of Dr. Jafrullah Chowdhury,” he wrote.
Dr Zafrullah is currently undergoing treatment at Gonoshasthaya Nagar hospital under the supervision of Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Dr Mamun Mustafi and Professor Dr Najib.
Dr Zafrullah decided to get tested for Covid-19 as he had a high fever on his body. He was tested with the GR Covid-19 Dot Blot, a rapid testing kits recently invented by Gonoshasthaya Kendra. On May 25, he tested positive for Covid-19. Later, he was also diagnosed with coronavirus infection at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
