Drives underway at residences of two AL leaders

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-3) is conducting drives at the residences of two Awami League leaders Enamul Huq and Rupom Bhuiyan for allegedly running a casino.

The two AL leaders were unavailable at their residences in Old Dhaka area of the capital during the drives.

“The drives are underway. For long days, the two leaders have been running a casino at the wanderers club which was under the control of them. But they hid themselves soon after the drives,” according to RAB-3.

It is learnt that Enamul Huq is the president of the ruling party's Gendaria unit.

A huge amount of cash and gold ornaments have been recovered from the residences of the two local AL leaders till filing the report.
