Dudu on more 4-day remand

Staff Correspondent: BNP chairperson’s Advisor Shamsuzzaman Dudu has been placed on more four-day remand in a case filed for hurling bombs on policemen during the BNP-led 20 party alliance’s countrywide ongoing hartal and blockade programmes.

 

The Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Mahbubur Rahman came up with the order after a hearing in this regard on Monday.

 

Earlier on January 28, the BNP leader was also placed on a two-day remand in an arson and vitalization case.

 

It was alleged that the BNP leader gave an order to his supporters to hurl bombs on police in Mirpur area in the capital on January 10.

 

Earlier on January 11, a day after bomb hurling incident on police in the area, police arrested Dudu.
