Durga puja holiday now 5-day for primary school

The government has extended Durga puja holiday in government primary schools to five days from the existing three days.

As a result of this decision taken by the government, primary teachers, students and employees will now enjoy Durga puja holiday for five days from October 5.

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued a circular signed by its secretary Md Akram-Al-Hossain in this regard on Wednesday.

According to the circular, the government has added October 5 and 6 with the scheduled 3-day holidays of Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community.

Now the teachers, students and employees will enjoy the holidays from October 5 to October 9.
