Earthquake jolts Ladakh's Kargil

An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale struck Kargil in Ladakh in India.

India’s National Center for Seismology (NCS) said, the shaking was felt at 3.37 am on Sunday (July 4).

With this, the area felt tremor for this second time. Earlier on Thursday, another earthquake of magnitude 4.5 hit Kargil.

However, no causalities were reported after the quake.
