Eid: Public transport to remain closed for 9 days

Inter-district public transport will remain suspended before and after Eid-ul-Azha, one of the religious festivals for Muslims.

Roads and Highways Department will issue a circular in this regard any time.

An order from the cabinet division has been sent in this regard to Roads and Highways Department and the Bridges Ministry.

According to the order,  public transport will remain suspended five days before Eid and three days after Eid.

No one can leave their workplaces during the days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. Inter-district public transport will remain closed during the period, the order said.
