Eight dists termed ‘Red Zones’ for coronavirus

Eight districts of eight divisions have been considered as ‘Red Zone’ for coronavirus (Covid 19).
Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), on Monday named the most affected districts and mentioned number of infected people in the regular online bulletin.
The districts are Dhaka city and Narayanganj of Dhaka division, Cumilla of Chattogram, Habiganj of Sylhet, Rangpur of Rangpur division, Mymensingh of Mymensingh division, Barisal of Barisal division and Joypurhat of Rajshahi divison.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh coronavirus cases surpassed 10,000 while death toll 182 on Monday.
There were 688 new cases while 5 more deaths over the past 24 hours.
Nasima Sultana said, “Of the total infected people, 68 percent are male while 32 percent female. Besides, mostly infected and dead from coronavirus are in Dhaka. Then, Chattogram and Mymensingh are toppers for infection respectively.”
