‘Ex-Chhatra League leaders to take helm of Swechchhasebak League’

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said the new committee of Swechchhasebak League will be formed with leaders with Chhatra League background.

Obaidul Quader made the opinion while replying to a query of newsmen at Suhrawardy Udyan on Thursday.

He said, “The leadership of Swechchhasebak League will be formed from former Chhattra League leaders. Preparation of the Swechchhasebak League’s national council. A festive mood has been created centering the council. There are councilor of Swechchhasebak League. They will propose and support names. Everything will be held maintaining democratic process.”

Obaidul Quader, “Above all, we have our leader (Sheikh Hasina). She is guardian of all. The former Chhatra League leaders who have clean image, honest and active, they will be made leaders.”

Awami League Joint General Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Organizing secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Swechchhasebak League organizing secretary Khayrul Hasan Jewel, Sheikh Sohel Rana Tipu and others attended the function.
