FDC set up Bangabandhu’s monument

Risingbd Entertainment, Dhaka, Dec 18: Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) set up a monument of Father of the Nation Bangabandu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on its premises on Monday.

BFDC Managing Director and Freedom Fighter Pijush Bandyopadhyay inaugurated the monument at a gala opening ceremony as chief guest.

Vice presidents of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote Syed Hasan Imam and Mobarak Ali Sikder, President of Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association Shahidul Islam Khokan, its Secretary Mushfiqur Rahman Guljar and Cholochchitra League leader Mia Alauddin spoke at the programme as special guests.

BFDC directors Shafiqul Islam and Lokshan Debnath, Secretary of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote Arun Sarker Rana, Vice President of Krishak League Sheikh Jahangir Alam and producer-actor Miju Ahmed addressed the ceremony, among others..
