Father, son killed in Savar roar crash

A man and his son were killed after an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle on Dhaka-Aricha highway on Tuesday.

The deceased were known as Alauddin Sikdar, 65 and his son Kaiyum Sikdar, 45, hailed from Razfulbaria area of Tetuljhara union in Savar.  

Savar highway police in-charge Abdullahel Baki said, the victims were heading towards home riding a motorcycle. The accident happened near Banktown Bridge area in Savar at around 11:30am, leaving Alauddin dead on the spot and injured Kaiyum critically.

Later, the son Kaiyum died on the way to hospital.
