Fazilatunnesa Bappy’s namaz-e-janaza this afternoon

The namaz-e-janaza of Fazilatunnesa Bappy, a former lawmaker and vice-president of Juba Mohila Legaue, will be held around 3.00pm today (Thursday) at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be present there.

Fazilatunnesa Bappy will be buried at the Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard.
Office Secretary of Awami League Biplob Barua said this.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Fazilatunnesa Bappy.

In a condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to members of bereaved family.

She died around 8.00am on Thursday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

She was 49 years old.
