Fazle Hasan Abed's namaz-e-janaza held

The namaz-e-janaza of BRAC founder and chair emeritus Sir Fazle Hasan Abed was held at Army Stadium on Sunday noon.

People from all walks of life attended the namaz-e-janaza held around 12.45pm.

Earlier, President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tributes to Sir Fazle Hasan Abed.

On behalf of President M Abdul Hamid, Major Ashikur Rahman and on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her Deputy Military Secretary Col Saifullah placed wreaths at the coffin of Sir Fazle Hasan Abed at Army Stadium on Sunday.

BRAC founder Sir Fazle Hasan Abed’s body was taken to the Army Stadium in Dhaka in the city at 10:25am.

He was buried at Banani graveyard in the capital.

The noted personality of the country died on Friday night while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospitals in Dhaka.
