Female police officer dies of dengue fever

Senior Correspondent: A sub-inspector of police has died of dengue fever.

Sub-Inspector Kohinur Begum Nila died around 1:15am on Wednesday at Mohammadpur’s City Hospital, police headquarters confirmed the matter.

She was a sub-inspector of special branch and mother of a baby boy.

She was taken to the hospital at night of July 29. Later, she was taken to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as her health condition deteriorated.

Nila hailed from Bhuapur upazila in Tangail.
