Fire at two auto-rickshaw factories in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur:  A fire broke out at two battery–run auto-rickshaw manufacturing factories at Tongi on Thursday morning.

The incendiary was broke out around 8:15am at the two factories of Haider Ali and Kowser in Kathaldia area.

Senior officer of Tongi Fire Station Md Atikur Rahman said being informed, four fire fighting units from Tongi rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after 45 minutes’ frantic efforts.

Many parts of auto-rickshaws in the factories were gutted.
