Foreign Minister stands by nurse family who died of coronavirus

Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen has stood by that nurse family who died of coronavirus in Sylhet.

He has announced to give savings certificates of Tk 2 lakh to son of that dead nurse to afford his educational expenditure.

Senior Information Officer of Foreign Ministry Touhidul Islam said this on Monday.

He said, “Rajimon Hassan Alif, son of dead nurse Ruhul Amin, studies in class-7 at Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College. The savings certificates would be named to his mother.”

Meanwhile, the minister has already sent a demi official (DO) letter to the authority of Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College asking providing free education facilities to Alif.

Ruhul Amin, a senior staff nurse of Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital, died of coronavirus.
