Former whip Ashraf Hossain dies

Former whip and labour leader in Khulna Ashraf Hossain has died.
The former leader breathed his last around 3.00am on Saturday at United Hospital in the city.
He was 79 years old.
AKM Moshfekus Salehin Pilot, a relative of Ashraf Hossain, confirmed the news.
He was suffering from cancer and heart problem.
To mourn his death, he left behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Nikunjo-2 Jame mosque after johr prayer. Later, he will be buried beside the graves of father and mother in Cumilla.
