Free aerosol to be distributed in educational institutions

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon announced that free aerosol in educational institutions will be distributed in all educational institutions to face dengue crisis.

The mayor made the declaration while addressing a view exchange meeting at Shilpakala Academy auditorium in the capital on Friday.

He said, “Awareness campaign, announcement using loud speakers, spraying mosquito medicine regularly, sermon speech in mosque and others steps will be taken.”

“Highest efforts have been taken to face dengue crisis. We will be able to get dengue free city soon with the effort of all,” he added.

Mayor Sayeed Khokon also said that rover/scouts members will distribute awareness leaflets going to doors to doors.

Chief Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office, Md Abul Kalam Azad, Deputy Commissioner Abu Saleh Md Ferdaus Khan, Specialist doctor Pran Gopal Dutta, Information Commissioner Suraiya Begum, Education minister senior secretary Sohrab Hossain and others attended the function.
