Gas supply to remain suspended in areas of Dhaka

Gas supply to some areas of Dhaka will remain shut for 6 hours from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on Tuesday due to pipeline transfer and customer connection replacement.

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited made the announcement issuing a press release on Monday.

It said works of transferring gas pipeline and replacement of customer connection will be conducted from Banani Railway Station to Mohakhali Bus Terminal on Tuesday. For this, gas supply to industrial captive power, commercial, CNG, domestic customers of the areas on both sides of Shaheed Tajuddin Avenue, entire Banani area, Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka cantonment residential and adjacent areas will remain suspended from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on the day.

Titas Gas has expressed regret over the temporary shutdown of gas supply.
