Court Correspondent: Ghulam Azam, a war crimes convict and former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BMSSU) due to the deterioration of his physical condition.

He was admitted to CCU at around 10.30am on Tuesday as his shortness of breath increased.

A son of Ghulam Azam confirmed the matter to the newsmen.

International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) sentenced Ghulam Azam 90 years of imprisonment in war crimes cases.
