Gonoshasthaya gets nod to have its Covid-19 kits tested

Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) has permitted that samples of the kit locally manufactured by Gonoshasthaya Kendra be tested.

The DGDA has confirmed it issuing a letter to Gonoshasthaya Kendra on Thursday (April 30).

"Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) will test the sample of the Covid-19 testing kits," said Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, founder and trustee of Gonoshasthaya Kendra.

The BSMMU vice chancellor was also informed about the matter, said Dr Zafrullah.

On April 25, Gonoshasthaya Kendra handed over the testing kits to BSMMU for final approval from the government.
