Gonoshasthaya Kendra to send corona test kits to WHO

Gonoshasthaya Kendra has planned to hand over its Covid-19 test kitsto the government on April 25.

Besides,it will also send Covid-19 test kits to World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC of the USA.

A press release signed by MohibUllahKhondoker, vice-principal of the Gonoshasthaya Medical College and project coordinator of GR Covid-19 Dot Blot, disclosed this on Thursday.

A team of Gonoshasthaya-RNA Biotech, a sister concern of Gonoshasthaya Kendra, developed the kits called Rapid Dot Blot, which can detect coronavirus infection in 15 minutes. It was facing trouble in importing reagents for the kit, but after the government approval, they imported from China and England.
