Government mulls alternative of Chinese market

Various countries issued travel ban on Chinese citizen following coronavirus outbreak. As a result, many countries would lost interest to do business with China. So, the government is mulling alternative sources to import necessary goods.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi made the disclosure while addressing newsmen after a meeting with Canada’s Saskatchewan Agriculture Minister David Marit on Monday.

He said, “A report was sought from traders about the impact on trading due to coronavirus. Necessary steps will be taken following the report.”
